 Adult Programs

   Friday Night Crafting Club, 6-8 pm.  Bring your project to the Library and take some time for yourself with fellow crafters.  This informal group meets in the Library’s lower level and requires no registration.

   Candlewood League of Artists, Sunday, Feb. 10th, 2 pm, Program Room.  This art demonstration features Alain Picard.  Alain Picard is an award-winning artist based in Bethel and an expert in oils and pastels.  He is a graduate of Western CT State University with an illustration degree and also studied at Art Students League in NYC.  No registration is required.

   Genealogy, Weds., Feb. 20, 6:45-7:30 pm.  Karen Keeler will be available to assist you with your ancestry search.  Register online beginning Feb. 6th.

Children’s Programs

    Drop-in Saturday Craft, 11 am to 4 pm, Children’s Library.  Children of all ages are welcome to come between the hours of 11 am to 4 pm to do a craft at their leisure.  No registration is required.

   Tales for Twos, Tuesdays in February, 10:30-11 am, Program Room.  Stories, music and crafts with Ms. Heather for ages 24-35 months.  No Storytime on 2/19.  Online registration opened Jan. 22nd.

   More Stories Please, Wednesdays, Program Room, 10:30-11 am. Children ages three to five will meet for stories and crafts with Miss JoAnn in February. Online registration is required for each month. There will be no storytime on Feb. 13th.  Children ages three to five may register separately for Music with Ms. Mel and Her Guitar! 

   Drop-In Storytime/Stay and Play, Thursdays, 10:30-11am, Program Room.  Stories, music and movement for all ages with Ms. JoAnn every Thursday unless school is closed or delayed.  No registration is required. 

    Valentine’s Day Craft, Monday, Feb. 11, 4:30-5:30 pm, Program Room.  Children from Kindergarten and up are invited to join Katie Stevenson for a special Valentine’s Day craft.  Online registration opened Jan. 28.

   Music with Ms. Mel and Her Guitar, Weds., Feb. 13, 10:30-11 am, Program Room.  Children ages three to five are invited to join Ms. Mel for music and fun at the library!  Online registration opened Jan. 30.

Program Closing Information:  If New Fairfield schools are delayed due to weather, there will be no morning programs.  If school is cancelled, all Children’s Programs will be cancelled for the day even if the Library is still open.
