Holiday Hours:

            The library will be closed Saturday May25, Sunday May 26, and Monday, May 27th for the Memorial Day Holiday.

Adult Programs

       The Sweet History of Honey and Honey Tasting, Wednesday, May 22, 6:30-7:30p.m.

Why do we love honey so much? Wghat makes honey dark or light? Why does honey crystallize? Learn the answers to these questions, taste different honeys, and much more in this engaging lecture provided by The Humble Bee Honey Company.

       Genealogy, May 22 6:45-7:30 p.m.  Karen Keeler will be available to assist with your ancestry search.  Please register online.

Friday Night Crafting Club, 6-8 p.m.  Bring your project to the Library and take some time for yourself with fellow crafters.  This informal group meets in the Library’s lower level and requires no registration

Children’s Programs

            Wee Ones, Mondays , 10:30-11:00 a.m. Stories, Music and movement with Ms.Janet. For children ages 12-23 months. Please register online.

Drop-in Saturday Craft, 11 am to 4 pm, Children’s Library.  Children of all ages are welcome to come between the hours of 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to do a craft at their leisure.  No registration is required.

Tales for Twos, Tuesdays.10:30-11 a.m.  Stories, music and crafts with Ms. Janet for ages 24-35 months.  Please register online.

More Stories Please, Wednesdays,. 10:30-11 a.m. Children ages three to five will meet for stories and crafts with Miss Heather. Online registration is required. 

Registration for programs begins 2 weeks before the program date.  Please register online from the Programs tab on the library website, www.newfairfieldlibrary.org

Program Closing Information:  If New Fairfield schools are delayed due to weather, there will be no morning programs.  If school is cancelled, all Children’s Programs will be cancelled for the day even if the Library is still open.
