Sunday Hours

   The Library will be open most Sundays beginning October 20th and running through to April 26th.  Operating hours will be from 1 to 4 pm.  Please plan accordingly.

Adult Programs  

   Friday Night Crafters, 6-8 pm.  No registration required.  Take some time for yourself and pop in to work on whatever project you have going.

   CT Partnership for Long Term Care, Weds., Oct. 23, 6:45-7:45 pm.  This informative program describes what you need to know before buying long-term care insurance, the risks and costs of nursing home and home care, and why it is important to consider these factors in retirement planning.  Registration online opened Oct. 9.

Sneak Peek November Adult Programs

   Crystal Reading; Intro to Dance; Cutting Monthly Expenses; Genealogy.  Look online at our website for dates and descriptions. 

Children’s Programs

   Wee Ones, Mondays, 10:30-11 am.  Stories, music and movement with Ms. Janet for children 12-23 months. Register online.

   Tales for Two’s, Tuesdays, 10:30-11 am.  Stories, music and crafts with Ms. Janet for children 24-35 months.  Registration online is required.

   More Stories Please, Wednesdays, 10:30-11 am.  Children ages three to five are invited to join Ms. JoAnn for stories and crafts. Online registration is required.

   Drop-In Storytime/Stay and Play, Thursdays, 10:30 am.  No registration required.  Stories, music and movement for children of all ages with Ms. JoAnn.  There will be no program on October 17th.

   Drop-In Craft, Saturdays,11 am to 4 pm.  Children of all ages are invited to stop in and enjoy a craft.

   Halloween Craft, Monday, Oct. 21, 4:30 pm.  Children in grades one and up are invited to join Ms. Katie in making a Halloween craft.  Registration online opened Oct. 7.

   Drop-in Halloween Craft, Friday, Oct. 25, 4-8 pm.  Drop in the Library and make a Halloween craft in the Children’s Room.  Children of all ages can make a spooky ornament or a terrifying trick or treat bag.  No registration required.

   Create a Magic Spell Book, Friday, Oct. 25, 6-7 pm.  Participants in middle school (that includes adults too!) and up are invited to join Ms. Katie in creating a magic spell book of their own.  Registration online opened Oct. 11.

   Trick or Treat at the Library, Friday, Oct. 25, 4-8 pm.  Say the magic words to one of our creepy clerks or scary librarians and receive a tasty treat!
